Urban Solar installs pathway light at Mt Hood Community…

Urban Solar is excited to announce its partnership with Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) for an installation of its Solar LED Lighting solutions – the SLL Series.

Urban Solar awarded major contract with Intercity Transit

Urban Solar is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a contract to supply solar powered LED lighting systems to Intercity Transit.

Intercity Transit, Thurston County’s public transportation provider, sees a high demand for its services.  In 2015 it logged nearly 4.3 million passenger boardings on its fixed route service.  To support this growing demand, it continues to install high quality, ruggedized solar lighting equipment and recently searched for a new supply.  Urban Solar won top pick with its focus on solar LED solutions for the transportation industry. Urban Solar deploys solar bus stops in San Francisco

Urban Solar is proud to announce its agreement with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) to supply solar powered LED lighting in San Francisco, California.

Urban Solar started working closely with SFMTA officials in 2009 to create a unique bus stop amenity that reflects the agency’s commitment to transit services, the city’s culture, and passion for renewable energy.  SFMTA had also started a bus stop improvement program with CCO that includes new poles, signage, and solar lighting. Urban Solar awarded major contract with Long Beach Transit

Urban Solar has been awarded a contract to supply solar powered LED lighting systems to Long Beach Transit (LBT).

LBT’s Bus Stop Improvement Planning Committee (BSIP) has worked hard to enhance LBT’s customer experience by exploring ways to increase lighting at bus stops for a more comfortable and secure atmosphere for riders.
