Lighting Up Orlando Bus Stops with UL Listed Solar Systems
Urban Solar is pleased to announce a recent supply order for solar powered LED bus shelter lighting system in Orlando, Lynx, Orlando’s transit authority, recently selected Urban Solar’s PV-Shelter series, a solar powered LED lighting system for transit shelters, for its reliability and innovative transit focused design. Additional consideration was given to the independent stand-alone UL listed safety rating Urban Solar products carry. Coupling powerful LED technology and intuitive power management with environmentally friendly solar power, the PV-Shelter solar lighting solution provides transit users, drivers and officials with a safe, green, economical and practical bus stop amenity.
Through our existing shelter manufacturing partners, LYNX has been thrilled to partner with Urban Solar. With recent changes in requirements with our local jurisdictions, the need for a UL listed solar product had occurred.
