Maintenance

  • Magnet test for battery health check:

Use the magnet included with your delivery. On each system, there is a yellow sticker that indicates where to put the magnet. Hold the magnet directly on the yellow sticker and the amount of light flashes will indicate the battery health. You can refer to the installation manual for a guide on what the light flashes indicate.

    Regular panel cleaning:

Regularly clean the solar panels to remove dirt, snow or other debris to ensure optimal performance.

    Battery replacement plans:

Depending on your location, batteries should be replaced every 4 to 8 years. It’s recommended that magnet tests be performed around the 4-year mark to see if batteries are due for a replacement.
